At the height of the telecommunications boom, Mortenson was one of the leading builders of mission critical facilities in our country. Our understanding of the complex mechanical, electrical, structural, information technology, and redundancy issues associated with the successful delivery of these facilities positioned our organization as the preferred provider of construction services for industry giants such as Sprint, Tycom, MCI/WorldCom, ICG, Microsoft, and Qwest. That foundation of knowledge has benefited many customers in recent years.

Mortenson has more than 11 million square feet of mission critical construction and renovations nationwide on our resume. Eighty percent of our mission critical experience is with repeat customers. Many of these projects were executed using the design-build delivery method, which gives us an even greater depth of understanding of the design criteria, performance standards, unique systems, design solutions, and state-of-the-art design theory applicable to data center and mission critical facilities. We understand all the critical components and issues involved in successfully delivering mission critical facilities.
