Scott West
Director of Quality
Scott West joined Mortenson as director of quality and provides leadership and oversight to Mortenson’s quality team nationwide. He is responsible for developing, deploying, and monitoring our quality system which is based on lean, ISO 9000, Malcolm Baldrige, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requirements and principles. This unique system is designed to address the construction culture and deliver complete customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
His responsibilities also include oversight of Full Service Facility Solutions, Mortenson's facility operations and maintenance related services group that is dedicated to assisting Mortenson customers with facility start-up and transitioning to sustainable long term operations.
Scott also serves on the Board of Directors for AccessAbility, a Minneapolis non-profit organization that helps people with personal challenges develop skills and gain employment. He holds an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University and a BS in mechanical engineering technology from the University of Maine.
