Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Mortenson’s Milwaukee office offers more than 125 team members the opportunity to impact the city’s evolving landscape. One of the key characteristics of the Milwaukee office is our commitment to innovation, and our leadership in the local - and national - market in terms of progressive tools and approach to construction. We pride ourselves on our culture of ingenuity and continuously aspire to reinvent the building process to provide superior outcomes for our customers.  With a business community that relies on tradition, reputation, commitment, and service, Mortenson continues to provide our valuable expertise to a long-standing customer base (and 80% repeat customers) while expanding our market share throughout the State.  While local businesses value Mortenson as a trusted partner, our team members find the office to be a dynamic, challenging, and fun place to work.

The Wisconsin operation services a variety of market sectors including healthcare, corporate, higher education, data centers / high tech, municipal and hospitality. With roots in Milwaukee, Mortenson has also expanded our presence into Madison and beyond. We consistently "practice what we preach" via green, sustainable construction practices simply because it is the right thing to do.  From installing a state-of-the-art hyperbaric chamber for Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center and leading the construction of the Froedtert and Medical College of Wisconsin Clinical Cancer Center to completing the first local design/build hospitality project for a Crowne Plaza prototype and erecting the iconic Harley-Davidson Museum, our team is proud to be shaping the skyline of Milwaukee, and supporting the future of the City.  In addition to building, our team members are committed to the success of Milwaukee and contribute their time and energy to a wide variety of local charities and professional organizations.

Our people and projects are continually being recognized for outstanding performance. Here are just a few:

  • Named the “Top Milwaukee Workplace” in the Medium-Sized Companies by The Business Journal in 2009 and 2010
