Seattle, Washington
Since 1982, Mortenson’s Seattle office has built more than 200 facilities in the Pacific Northwest, making us one of the leading builders in the area. We bring value to our customers by providing innovative solutions to their facilities’ needs and treating every relationship as a partnership. The three attributes of the Mortenson Experience – ingenuity, expertise and exceptional people – are incorporated into every project we undertake to ensure a better building experience for our customers, design partners, and our team members.
By continually looking for solutions to improve the building process, increase efficiency, and streamline workflows, we have become leaders in providing innovative solutions for construction challenges. We apply state-of-the-art advancements to all of our projects, including Building Information Modeling (BIM), which led to our 2007 BIM Award from the American Institute of Architects for our work on the University of Washington Benjamin D. Hall Interdisciplinary Research Building. We also integrate the use of Kaizen principals to eliminate waste and inefficiency in our processes, delivering exceptional quality, value, and schedule performance for each of our customers.
We strive to become experts not only in construction, but also in our customer’s business. By understanding what is important to them, we can provide tailored services for every aspect of a project’s lifespan. Our culture of continuous improvement drives our training programs for our team members and has positioned our office as a leader in the businesses of our selected industry sectors – healthcare, higher education, life sciences, hospitality, data centers, historic renovations, and sports and recreation.
Our culture of trust, teamwork, responsibility, safety, service, and stewardship are reinforced by our more than 300 team members every day. We offer an invigorating, problem-solving, creative environment that benefits our partners and internal team members alike.
