Mortenson to Build Gathering Place At Milwaukee County Zoo

Milwaukee, WI - Mortenson's Milwaukee office is pleased to announce their selection to build the U.S. Bank Gathering Place at the Milwaukee County Zoo.  The $5 million visitor orientation center is the final project in the Zoo's capital campaign.  The building will act as a landmark and connector between the parking lot, the entry, and the Zoo itself. This "gateway to the zoo experience" will see more than 1.2 million visitors pass through each year.

Preconstruction is underway, with construction starting in early Fall 2007 and completing before summer 2008.
