Mortenson's Seattle Office to Renovate Alexis Hotel

Seattle, WA - Mortenson's Seattle office has been selected for a $3 million renovation of the historic Alexis Hotel in downtown Seattle. A four-star luxury hotel, The Alexis will undergo a cosmetic facelift of all 109 rooms. Construction will be phased on a per-floor basis, with all five floors being renovated while the hotel is occupied.

Project scope includes updates to all guest rooms, hallways, and lobby including new crown molding, paint, carpet, and lighting.  In addition, all rooms will have entirely new finishes in bathrooms, updated wiring / data communications, and updated fixtures.  Twelve existing suites will be converted into 24 guest rooms, all to be fitted with new furntture and finishes.
