Mortenson's Phoenix Office Grabs a Double Play

Phoenix, AZ - Mortenson's Phoenix office is pleased to announce their selection for the new Glendale Spring Training Facility that will be home to both the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox. The project is an estimated $75 million and will begin construction in September 2007 in order to be open for the 2009 Spring Training Season.
The City of Glendale is a new customer for Mortenson's Phoenix office. The facility to be designed by HKS Architects will be located at Camelback Road and 107th Avenue, near the current Cardinals Stadium and Coyotes Arena in Glendale, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix. The two-team facility will include:
- 12,000 seat stadium, with 3,000 lawn seats
- Two 42,000 SF clubhouses
- 12 practice fields (4 Major League and 8 Minor League)
