Mortenson Selected for Bethel University's New Commons Building

Minneapolis, MN - Mortenson's Minneapolis office is pleased to announce their selection as construction manager for Bethel's University new commons facility. This selection is a testament to Mortenson's exceptional relationships with Bethel University, KKE Architects, and The LaSalle Group.
The University Commons, Bethel's first student center and fondly known on campus as the "family room," will be a $30 million, 110,000 SF building which extends along Lake Valentine. The building will provide a casual assembly area with a proscenium stage where several hundred students can gather for discussions, guest speakers, and events. The new building will also include a centralized Office of Student Life, and a greatly expanded Dining Center and Campus Store. The project completion is scheduled for late February 2009.
