Mortenson Awarded New Operational Maintenance Facilities at Fort Riley

Minneapolis, MN - Mortenson's Federal Contracting Group is pleased to announce that our design-build team of Mortenson Construction, Leo A. Daly, and Black & Veatch were recently selected for a $45.5 million Company Operations Facility and Tactical Vehicle Maintenance Facility at Ft. Riley, Kansas. This project is the initial task order under the new Northwest Division Regional Multiple Award Task Order Contract in which Mortenson competes against a pre-qualified and limited pool of only five general contractors.
The COF/TEMF Facilities at Ft. Riley will include:
- Four TEMF facilities comprising 11 maintenance bays and 70,288 SF
- Two COF buildings totaling 92,358 SF
- Five storage buildings comprising 6 bays and 7,080 SF
- Sustainable design and construction
