Mortenson's Director of Operations Wins 40 Under 40 Award

Minneapolis, MN - The editors of Building Design & Construction, a national monthly magazine, selected Kendall Griffith from among 273 nominees as a winner in their third annual “40 under 40” competition. The competition is open to architecture, engineering, and construction professionals from around the world who are under 40 years old. The award recognizes Kendall as one of the rising young stars in the $399 billion architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
At 38 years old, Griffith is one of the youngest Director of Operations at Mortenson Construction and is currently responsible for the largest volume of projects for the Minneapolis office. Two of these projects include significant landmarks for the state, the Minnesota Twins Ballpark and the University of Minnesota TCF Bank Stadium. In his career, he has led teams on notable projects including the University of Minnesota’s McNamara Alumni Center and the Walker Art Center Expansion.
