Mortenson to Partner on Addition to Central Washington Hospital

Seattle, WA - Mortenson's Seattle Office is beginning a $100M addition and renovation project at Central Washington Hospital, located in Wenatchee, Washington.
The project will be a 150,000 SF addition to an existing hospital built in 1963 that has since seen numerous additions and changes. With horizontal expansion no longer an option, the hospital has planned a 5-story bed tower to accommodate its growing population.
Working with the local contractor that has been Central Washington Hospital’s trusted partner for the last 15 years, Mortenson will lead the construction of the addition while the local contractor, acting as a subcontractor to us, will proceed with many of the renovations in the existing facility. This is an important project for the community, and Mortenson is dedicated to including the community as well as local businesses. Preconstruction has begun and Mortenson expects to break ground in the spring of 2009.
