Mortenson Awarded Seattle University's Connolly Center

Seattle, WA - Due to the strength of Mortenson's relationship with Seattle University, Mortenson's Seattle office was recently awarded the Connolly Center, athletic facility project on the Seattle University campus. Located in downtown Seattle, the $8 million project will be an 18,000 SF expansion to the existing Connolly Sports Center, and the first of four planned phases that will completely renovate the facility. The expansion will provide group exercise studios, cardio and weight training areas, locker rooms and administrative offices for Seattle University’s recreational sports programs.
Mortenson will work with design partner Olson Sundborg Kundig Allen Architects. Construction will begin in January of 2009 and is slated to finish in early 2010.
