Mortenson's Kane County Adult Justice Center Honored

Chicago, IL - The Construction Industry Service Corporation (CISCO), a non-profit labor management association, chose the Kane County Adult Justice Center for the 2008 Pride in Construction Project of the Year Award based on quality of construction, design, impact on the community, and an outstanding safety record (356 days without an OSHA recordable injury)!
In addition, the American Public Works Association (APWA) Fox Valley Branch 2008 chose the Kane County Adult Justice Center as the 2008 Project of the Year. APWA is an association of public agencies, private sector companies, and individuals dedicated to providing high quality public works goods and services. Their awards committee was intrigued with the design and construction techniques used on this project.
