Mortenson Begins Construction on Phase 3 of Vestas Blade Facility

Mortenson's Denver office is pleased to announce the start of construction on the third phase of the Vestas Blade Manufacturing Facility in Windsor, Colorado.  Mortenson began work for Vestas in June 2007and has become a trusted partner for the construction of their blade manufacturing facilities. 

The customer required a fast-tracked schedule, with the project breaking ground in June and completing construction on December 21, 2009.  The project team has an outstanding safety record with No Recordable Injuries in the 531 days since the start of construction on Phase One.
