Mortenson Selected for Xcel Energy’s Tenant Improvements at 1800 Larimer

Denver, CO - The Denver Office is pleased to announce that Westfield Development has selected Mortenson as the CM/GC for the tenant finish of Xcel Energy’s new regional headquarters. The headquarters will be located in the new 1800 Larimer Street office tower, currently under construction by Mortenson.
The 340,000-square-feet of space will be designed and built to meet LEED® Commercial Interiors (CI) at the platinum level. The new headquarters will consolidate Xcel Energy employees from three separate existing locations. RNL, the architect for the core and shell, was also chosen for the tenant finish.
Construction of the $18.5 million tenant finish will begin in August with completion in April 2010.
