Mortenson to Build New Wastewater Treatment Plant in Colorado

Denver, CO - Mortenson's Denver Office has been selected by Upper Blue Sanitation District to provide construction management agency services for the $30 million Farmers Korner North Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion. Located in Breckenridge, Colorado, this project will increase the plant capacity from 3.2 MGD to 4.95 MGD.
The project will be completed in November 2011 after a 30 month construction duration. Mortenson will be working with Carollo Engineers Denver office and BHH Architects of Breckenridge. The general contractor will be competitively bid and has not been selected.
