January 21, 2010

Milwaukie, OR - Mortenson's Seattle office was selected for its third wastewater treatment project in six months, winning the $42 million Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) Oak Lodge Sanitary District wastewater treatment plant project in Milwaukie, Oregon, just 5 miles south of Portland.  Work includes improvements to influent pumping, headworks, aeration basins, disinfection facilities and ancillary facilities.

Phase 1A, valued at $26 million, is scheduled to break ground in the Spring of 2010 with the $16 million Phase 1B starting immediately after Phase 1A completion.

This is a key win as Mortenson further expands in Oregon and the water / wastewater treatment project market.
