Mortenson Completes Remodel at Coors Field

Denver, CO — Mortenson is pleased to announce that construction recently completed on our fifth remodel project at Coors Field since Mortenson completed the baseball stadium in 1995. We continue to deliver a Far Superior performance, and be the Colorado Rockies contractor of choice for on-going enhancements to the stadium.

For this remodel, the team worked on the Mountain Ranch Club. The Club is nestled behind the right field foul ball pole but enclosed from the field with a glass curtain wall. Since fans really like experiencing the energy of the crowd and Colorado’s sunny weather, the Rockies asked Mortenson to remove the curtain wall and replace it with two 40 feet wide by 18 feet tall operable glass doors. The doors fold upwards to allow the best of both worlds.

Construction began in January and completed prior to the Rockies home opener on April 9th.
