OSF Healthcare System Selects Mortenson as Construction Manager for Hospital Addition

Chicago, IL — Mortenson is very excited to announce our selection as Construction Manager for the $12 million OSF Saint Joseph Birthing Center addition in Bloomington, IL. This is a key project that allows us to further strengthen our more than ten year relationship with OSF Healthcare System and long-standing partnership with the Hammes Company.

The project is a 35,000 square foot addition and will create 12 private Labor/Delivery/Recovery/Postpartum (LDRP) rooms and a 15 bed nursery area, offering mothers and their babies the latest advances in comfort and care. Construction is expected to commence this month and complete 12 months later in time for the hospital’s 125th anniversary celebration.
