Mortenson Awarded Second Project at Ramsey County Correctional Facility

Minneapolis, MN — Mortenson is excited to continue its relationship with the Ramsey County Correctional Facility on their HVAC renovation project. Mortenson will partner with Schadegg Mechanical, Johnson Controls and Parsons Electric, the same team that successfully delivered the $16.8 million expansion project in October 2008. The team will focus on bringing all HVAC systems into code compliance while increasing the ventilation rates to specific areas of the building so monitoring and recording can occur at key system components.

The $1.3 million renovation will occur in two phases. Phase I will include system design and GMP establishment. Phase II will move through completion of construction documents and the phased renovation. Phase I is scheduled to complete November 2010 and phase II in May 2011.
