Mortenson Selected to Build the New Racine, Wisconsin Family YMCA

Racine, WI — Mortenson has been selected to serve as the Construction Manager for the new Racine Family YMCA West Branch. The new 70,000 sf facility will be constructed along Highway 20 in Racine.  

Initial plans for the new “Y” include two swimming pools, a full-service wellness center, gymnasium, multi-purpose exercise room, running track and other amenities to serve the community’s needs. The childcare center will be developed to meet National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation and will feature individual playrooms, a multi-purpose room and a play yard.
