Denver, CO – Mortenson Construction has joined with their business partners to raise $17,500 for National Jewish Health (www.nationaljewish.org). This year’s fundraising effort came during the company’s annual charity golf tournament last month at Fox Hollow Golf Course in Lakewood, which was attended by more than 220 people.

“Our annual golf tournament seems to become more popular every year, and it was especially gratifying to raise such a substantial amount of money for National Jewish Health,” said Bob Hansen, vice president of Mortenson. “Our entire company understands how important it is to be a contributing member of the community, and do what we can to support important causes.  Fortunately, many of the people we do business with feel the same way, providing us with the opportunity to do a great deal more as a group.”

National Jewish Health is known worldwide for treatment of patients with respiratory, cardiac, immune and related disorders, and for groundbreaking medical research. Founded in 1899 as a nonprofit hospital, National Jewish Health remains the only facility in the world dedicated exclusively to these disorders. Since 1998, U.S. News & World Report has ranked National Jewish Health the number one respiratory hospital in the nation.
