Robert Solfelt Joins Mortenson Development as Director of Real Estate Development

Minneapolis, MN – Mortenson Development, an affiliate of M. A. Mortenson Company, Golden Valley, is pleased to announce Robert Solfelt has joined the organization as director of real estate development. Solfelt will help lead development services for Mortenson across the Twin Cities and the Midwest.
Mortenson Development has been providing real estate development services to customers since1975. It has developed more than 50 projects totaling over $600 million in total project value. Several local and national projects are currently underway and include the Radisson Blu at Mall of America in partnership with Carlson, the Minneapolis Public Schools District Headquarters, Metropolitan State College of Denver Hotel and Hospitality Learning Center, and Freedom Crossing at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Tacoma, Wash.

Solfelt comes to Mortenson from Mount Development where he was the company’s president and co-owner. In this role, he helped initiate and develop 23 projects of various sizes in the Twin Cities area that addressed real estate needs across multiple industries. Solfelt previously was executive vice president and co-owner of Computer Options, Inc. / North Central Consulting, and managed marketing operations for IBM.
