Wendy Kram joins Mortenson Construction as Senior Business Development Manager

Minneapolis, MN - Mortenson Construction is pleased to announce the recent addition of Senior Business Development Manager Wendy Kram. Wendy is responsible for strategic business development in the mission critical and corporate marketplace.
“Wendy is well-known and respected within the industry,” said Ken Sorensen, Vice President and General Manager for Mortenson’s Minneapolis office. “Her technical background, knowledge of the industry and strong strategic skills will play a key role in further understanding our corporate customers’ needs.”
Wendy has 20 years of strategic business development and engineering experience spanning twenty-five different industries. Prior to joining Mortenson, Wendy was President and founder of Edgestone Consulting, Inc., where she advised leaders of dozens of emerging businesses on growth strategies. As a senior consultant for GE Capital Consulting, Wendy led strategic projects for 3M, Best Buy, Target Corporation, Northwest Airlines, UnitedHealth Group and University of Minnesota Physicians. Wendy was also a Project Manager at Koch Industries, Dow Chemical and General Motors.
Wendy earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. She is a member of Women Construction Owners & Executives USA, an honored member of the Presidential Council of Alumnae at Michigan Technological University, a past board member of the Association of Women Contractors, past member of the Minnesota Coaches Association and a past member of the National Association of Women Business Owners.
