Mark Mortenson

Mark joined Mortenson in 1990 as a financial analyst where he supported senior leadership’s financial management of the business. While working for Mortenson, Mark attended William Mitchell College of Law and received his law degree in 1995. After spending two years in a private practice, Mark rejoined Mortenson and served as the company’s assistant secretary. In 2002, Mortenson’s Board of Directors appointed Mark to the position of corporate secretary.

In addition, Mark managed the accounting for the Minnesota Wild Hockey Arena project, served as counsel on corporate law matters, and worked as both sponsor and functional lead for the financial planning and analysis portion of the TI5 initiative. In 2005, Mark led the company in restructuring its investment program and since 2007, has been largely responsible for managing that program. In addition, Mark serves on Mortenson’s deferred compensation, investment, and 401(k)/profit sharing committees.
