Salt River Fields at Talking Stick
Salt River Fields at Talking Stick is a new major league baseball spring training facility that sits on a 145-acre site. Located on Indian Community land near Scottsdale, AZ, this facility will seat 11,000 fans in 7,000 fixed seats and 4,000 lawn seats.
There will be two separate clubhouses for the resident teams, the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Colorado Rockies, as well as visiting team clubhouses. The facility will also feature a 3-acre man-made lake that will be used for irrigating the fields.
Commissary, novelty, concession and restroom facilities will be located throughout the facility.

Fun Facts
There will be 13 playing fields on the 145 acre site, including eight minor league practice fields, four major league fields, and one main stadium field, plus two agility fields, three practice infields, bunting stations, and batting cages
Community participation is currently exceeding the owner's goals and expectations.
August – October, the project will have 850-1,000 workers on site!
By the time it's finished, more than 35,000 cubic yards of concrete will be poured.
The team will place more than 10 miles of underground site utilities, including sewer, water, storm drain, telecom, power and gas.
The two clubhouses will be home to the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks.
There will be seven concession buildings - six on the main concourse and one at center field.
The project requires twelve consultants in addition to HKS Architects.
More than100 design team staff members worked on the project at its peak.
The team includes people from San Francisco, Seattle, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Denver, Dallas, Kansas City, and Richmond.
