On Tuesday, September 26, elevated horizontal deck construction began on Chase Center, the state-of-the-art sports and entertainment complex in San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood.
 
This milestone is marked by the pouring of the first elevated concrete deck on the southeast corner of the plaza, home of the future “Theater Entry” of the arena.
 
The concrete pours will continue for nearly one year. Another significant construction milestone is taking place this week with the start of steel erection.
 
Chase Center is scheduled to open in time for the 2019-20 NBA season.
