Chicago Tribune names Mortenson as a 2017 Top Workplace

Mortenson has been recognized as one of Chicago’s most dynamic and supportive local businesses as part of the Chicago Tribune’s Top Workplaces 2017. All winners were honored during the Top Workplaces annual award ceremony held at Solider Field’s exclusive United Club on Thursday, Nov. 9.

Companies were selected by employee surveys conducted by Energage that measured such key qualities such as company leadership, communication, career opportunities, working environment, managerial skills, pay and benefits.

We joined fellow honorees and more than 700 C-level Chicago executives at the Top Workplaces 2017 event, which was emceed by the host of storytelling podcast Backseat Rider, Anthony Ponce, and featured Chicago Cubs Executive Chairman Tom Ricketts as keynote speaker.

“The Chicago Tribune has been part of the economic vibrancy of Chicago for 170 years,” said Publisher and Editor-in-Chief Bruce Dold. “We are proud to recognize those companies that stand out for their commitment to their employees and the community.”
