Opening the Gates

Demolition of the Metrodome in April, 2014 left the Minnesota Vikings without a permanent home. Their goal: Move into a new stadium in time for the 2016 season, temporarily playing at nearby TCF Bank Stadium for two seasons instead of three.

Less than 30 months later, and six weeks ahead of schedule, the Minnesota Vikings received the keys to U.S. Bank Stadium, the fastest enclosed, modern-day NFL stadium ever built.

A result of strategic scheduling, innovative use of advanced technology and a focus on providing an unparalleled experience for our customer and all Minnesotans, U.S. Bank Stadium’s unprecedented achievements in the sports construction industry is an example of our commitment to Redefining What’s Possible.
