Ben Goetter joined Mortenson over 25 years ago and is a member of the Phoenix Leadership Team. Prior to joining the Phoenix office, Ben played a vital role in Mortenson’s growth as one of the largest contractors in Wisconsin. Ben’s personable style and meticulous attention to detail has fostered excellent relationships with customers, design professionals, and trade partners.
As Vice President, General Manager, Ben is responsible for overall strategy development and direction of all facets of the group, including relationship management, preconstruction, construction, business development and community outreach activities. Ben's leadership is based on a long and successful track record in the industry and first-hand leadership of many large, world-class projects. Trust, communication, and a commitment to meeting customer expectations are his most important attributes. Having managed the development and construction of well over half a billion dollars in capital projects, he brings a unique operational point of view to each opportunity and challenge – allowing him to collaborate with each customer and partner to develop solutions to any situation.
Ben graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering with a bachelor’s in construction management and architectural engineering. He is also a founding board member of the Milwaukee Excellence School in Milwaukee, and was recognized as a “40 under 40” winner by the Milwaukee Business Journal.
