Mark is responsible for new business strategy and new project acquisition primarily with our Federal Government customers. Much of our federal work is delivered using a fully integrated design-build process. 

Mark works extensively with the customer and the design team in value engineering, value analysis, planning, estimating and scheduling activities during the proposal and preconstruction phase of projects. With 35 years at Mortenson, he has successfully delivered projects across multiple market segments throughout the U.S., focusing on the early stages of project planning and execution.

Mark grew up in North Dakota and attained a degree in construction engineering from North Dakota State University. He is a DBIA Designated Design-Build Professional.
