What does the design and construction of a training facility look like?
Delivered as a design-build project, this 10-building multi-mission complex houses the operations of a sustainment brigade at Fort Riley, Kansas. The complex includes a brigade headquarters, two battalion headquarters, two company operations facilities (COFs), two tactical equipment maintenance facilities (TEMFs), as well as site utilities, roadways, and parking areas. The project scope also included the design and construction of a band training facility and the development of an 80-acre site, including utility infrastructure, for an additional one million square feet of future facilities. The project was designed and built to USGBC LEED Silver criteria and complies with Department of Defense Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) requirements.
