Located in Pecos County, Texas, the 110 MWac utility-scale Alamo 6 Solar project is one of the largest of its kind in the world and will generate enough renewable energy for approximately 60,000 households per year once it’s operational in fall of 2016. The project was developed by OCI Solar Power and utilizes the Sun Action Trackers, LLC dual-axis tracker system and crystalline modules by Mission Solar Energy. Each tracker contains 42 modules, totaling nearly 430,800 modules for the entire site.
