As a Carpenter I, your primary duties include skilled craftsmanship for installation of all types of concrete formwork, in wall and roof blocking, installation of doors, frames, hardware, and finish carpentry.

Responsibilities
- Build decks, stairs, roofs and other temporary structures between office units, plan tables, install shelves, setup tool trailers and/or conex’s, per plan
- Hand-set forms and/or assemble the gang forms
- Assist journeyman and foreman with the shooting of grades and elevations
- The unloading, handling, stockpiling, and erecting of all pre-fabricated materials
- Concrete and rough carpentry
- Hand set Walls
- Footings
- Gang Wall Forms
- Structural Concrete Decks
- In wall and roof blocking
- Finish Carpentry, including doors, frames, and hardware
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Works within precise limits or standards of accuracy
- Pictures solid objects from drawings or diagrams
- Must be able to operate equipment such as: table saw, radial arm saws, belt & disc sanders, drill presses, fall protection, equipment, rigging and form systems
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk crouch, kneel, climb and periodically lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to adapt communication style to the speaker and possess a high degree of active listening skills
- Strong teamwork orientation
- Positive attitude and professional customer service skills
- Detail orientation
Education and Experience Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
- Trade or technical school certification/diploma is a plus
- A minimum of two years of experience as a carpenter
