Summary:

Mortenson’s Marketing Intelligence Team is seeking an eager individual to fill the role of Analytics Intern. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wants to work as part of a skilled team to gain valuable experience in marketing analytics and reporting.   

Highlights of your work with Mortenson will include: 

  • Data Collection and Management: Gather, clean, and manage marketing data from various sources including our CRM system, social media platforms and industry reports. 
  • Data Analysis: Use statistical tools and AI to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could offer valuable insights for the company's marketing strategies. 
  • Reporting:  Production of business intelligence reports and dashboards for internal customers, utilizing various database and data visualization tools 
  • Analytics:  Develop analyses and commentary that communicate key market, customer and business trends to internal stakeholders  

Qualifications:

  • Are currently enrolled and pursuing an undergraduate, four-year degree in Marketing, Data Science, Economics, or related field 
  • Possess experience with Microsoft Office, especially data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint. 
  • Ability to analyze data and create insights regarding what the data is telling us 
  • Attention to detail in order to ensure reports are accurate, consistent, and reliable. 
  • Possess excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills 
  • Strong ability to collaborate and communicate, both written and orally 

Preferred Qualifications:  

You are perfect for this opportunity if you: 

  • Have achieved a minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 
  • Have advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (vlookups, IF statements) and PowerBI. 

Additional Information: 

You will join an exciting and ever-changing industry with a minimum 12-week internship with our team. This opportunity is full-time the summer of 2024. This internship is not relocation-assistance eligible.  

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. H-1B lottery registration submission and completion of the STEM OPT I-983 training plan are considered sponsorship.
