What will you be doing? 


The Scheduling Manager performs non-routine planning and scheduling assignments that require the selection and application of complex scheduling principles and techniques on highly complex construction projects, including the management, leadership, and coordination of project team members and processes to implement scheduling strategies on complex construction projects.

How will you succeed? 

  • This position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field plus four years of related experience in the construction industry working on construction scheduling.
  • Alternatively, this position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field plus six years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the construction industry working on construction scheduling. 
  • Must have 24 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) drafting and computerizing schedule network diagrams and monitoring and eliminating potential problems; and (2) assisting site management to formulate action plans to correct scheduling problems, including time impact analysis, change orders, and claims management.
  • Must also have 12 months of experience (which may have been gain concurrently) with each of the following: (1) assisting site management with schedule interface to 4D visualization of the project model tied to the Critical Path Schedule, including working with required exports into the visualization software Synchro.
  • Must have worked on at least two construction projects valued at or more than $100 million and that include at least 4000 individual project activity identifications, with responsibility for preparing, monitoring, and updating schedules for complex construction projects.
  • Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master's program.
  • All experience may have been gained concurrently.
  • Position also requires domestic travel up to 5%.
