M. A. Mortenson Company seeks a FT Safety Manager based at our company HQ in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 

The Safety Manager provides management, leadership, direction, and support within the company’s safety program for multiple project teams and construction sites. 

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field and five (5) years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience in the construction industry focused on safety. Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: (1) maintaining operational knowledge of construction safety, OSHA, and ANSI standards and serving as resource for safety issues or concerns; (2) formulating, coordinating, and conducting safety orientation and training programs; (3) documenting and tracking safety violations and unsafe conditions and conducting safety work area audits; (4) recording, monitoring, and analyzing safety, injury, and hazard statistics and leading OSHA reporting and posting requirements; and (5) developing, implementing, and administering construction safety programs for construction worksite. 

All experience may have been gained concurrently. May work in various unanticipated locations in the United States. Salary: $133,162 to $150,000/year.
