Greg joined the company in 1990 and serves the organization as senior vice president. He currently oversees Mortenson’s Chicago office and is a member of the Company’s senior leadership team. Greg also provides leadership to Mortenson's core operations such as program management and business development.

Throughout his 26-year career at Mortenson, Greg has been an integral part of the Company’s success. After embarking on several notable projects across the nation, Greg was chosen to lead Mortenson’s entry into the Chicago market in 2000. Recently, his outstanding leadership of the Chicago office contributed to Mortenson’s recognition as Engineering News Record’s 2016 Midwest Contractor of the Year. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Outside of Mortenson, Greg is a member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO) and The Chicago Club. He also spends time serving on the Board of Directors for the Harper College Foundation, City of Hope, and Barrington Children’s Charities.

Mortenson Named Midwest Contractor of the Year

Engineering News-Record (ENR) names Mortenson Construction 2016 Midwest Contractor of the Year. Mortenson was honored for our innovative approach to challenging projects and for our revenues from projects in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, and Michigan.
