The Ida Grove Wind Project finished up their Fall Food Drive and dropped off all of the donations on Tuesday, November 1. The event was made into a friendly competition between the different groups on the project site including our customer MidAmerican Energy, Mortenson's BOP office, HVT, Civil, Subcontractors, Laborers, Operators, Ironworkers, and more.

Overall, the competition lasted 2 ½ weeks and nearly 15,000 items of food, paper products, baby products and various others were donated. The volunteers at the community food pantry were thrilled and mentioned that they have never seen so much food. Their shelves are full just in time for the holidays.
