On Tuesday, December 13, 2016, Mortenson's Phoenix group was honored by the Phoenix Business Journal as one of the Best Places to Work in the Valley. Around 100 Phoenix companies were nominated, and Mortenson was one of twenty companies recognized in the medium category. Way to go, team!

Companies were scored based on teamwork, retention, alignment with goals, trust with coworkers, individual contribution, manager effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, job satisfaction, and benefits.
