For more than 50 years, Mortenson has been involved with the United Way and supports its efforts to help those in need in our communities. Our North Dakota team participated in numerous activities through United Way in 2016, donating our time and talents to several different causes. These include the Live United T-shirt Day in November, Women’s Leadership Golf Scramble, Habitat for Humanity events associated with the United Way campaign, and the Senior Day of Caring. We also held several fundraisers throughout the United Way campaign. The most successful were an annual Chili Cook-off competition and a raffle for tickets to a Minnesota Wild Game. 

All of our teams connect with area communities through education and outreach, sponsorships, fundraising efforts. The North Dakota team believes there is a direct relationship between a project’s success and strong community engagement.
