Mortenson Team Members Share Innovative Construction Technologies with MSOE Seniors

With the construction of Milwaukee School of Engineering's (MSOE) Dwight and Dian Diercks Computational Science Hall underway, the Mortenson team is always looking for opportunities to make a positive impact on campus.

On November 27, two Mortenson team members, Josh Rudolph and Mark Peterson, hosted an interactive session for a group of MSOE seniors. They discussed how 4D schedules are developed, what they are used for, and the future of 4D. They explained how scheduling and Virtual Design and Construction come together to create a useful visual tool. The class also learned about ALICE Technologies, a system that uses artificial intelligence algorithms to help plan and schedule construction using different scenarios.

Our team members are passionate about educating the next generation of builders! Check out the current virtual reality experience for MSOE’s new facility here.
