Kelsey Dillon is Market Director for Mortenson’s Energy Storage & Solutions business. The energy industry has grown increasingly complex, requiring holistic solutions to support customers in making good decisions and delivering innovative, yet practical plans and projects. Kelsey focuses on actualizing electrification trends across the company’s vertical / commercial and energy /infrastructure operating groups. This includes incorporating electrified transportation systems, microgrids, distributed energy resources. Kelsey is applying her experience working through the full development and construction life-cycle of complex public and private projects, and managing the multi layered stakeholder groups that are essential to delivering successful projects.
Kelsey joined Mortenson in 2019 from Minneapolis based Avant Energy, where she led the firm’s consulting and project development team for 5 years. Kelsey’s background is in renewable and natural gas project development, utility management, power supply planning, and consulting for communities and large energy users. Kelsey holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Minnesota, and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management.
Kelsey lives in Minneapolis with her husband and their two daughters. Their Irish Setter ensures the house stays right on the edge between fun and silly & total chaos.
