Joining the company in 1985 as project engineer, Ken’s career has included launching Mortenson’s sports facilities group in 1985 and serving as Vice President and General Manager of Mortenson’s Minneapolis office. As a member of Mortenson’s senior leadership team, Ken continues to set the strategy and provide leadership for Minnesota operations, as well as regional operations in Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota. He is passionate about building trust, sharing innovative building practices and providing the best customer experience possible.

Ken holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering from Iowa State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota. He is currently a board member of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce and the Minneapolis Downtown Council. He is also on the board of directors for the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce. Ken is also a member of the Construction Engineering Advisory Council at Iowa State University.
