Hennepin Healthcare is a comprehensive academic medical center and public hospital with world-class trauma services. The six-story Clinic and Specialty Center include primary care clinics, specialty clinics, and outpatient surgery facilities. It brings together 40 clinics that were previously spread across 9 buildings over 5 city blocks—helping to meet the healthcare needs of the growing residential population as well as patients that use Hennepin Healthcare for specialty surgery services.

The medical center has two levels of underground parking accommodating 260 parking stalls and is LEED Gold Certified. It connects to the existing campus via skyway and an underground tunnel, providing access for inpatient travel between the two facilities.
