Wind energy is a major job creator - according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, wind turbine technician is one of America's two fastest-growing jobs, along with solar installer. We are happy to announce that in honor of American Wind Week, we will be giving away two scholarships to students in wind technology programs. The first is a $1000 scholarship to Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville, IA, for their Wind Energy & Turbine Technology program. The second is a $1000 scholarship to the Lake Area Technical College in Watertown, SD, for their Energy Operations or Energy Technology programs.
