Rani attended Penn State and majored in Architectural Engineering with a construction management career path.
 
She got into estimating almost by accident and quickly fell in love with it. Before working with Mortenson, she was an estimator for a commercial building contractor in Washington, D.C.

She took her estimating expertise to renewable energy, seeing the value in how it positively impacts the planet. Rani entered the Wind Energy Group during its early stages and has stuck with it since.
 
Rani believes that if you are prepared, work hard and do the best you can; you will succeed in construction.
