At Mortenson our focus is collaboration throughout all phases of a project. The Integrated Project Delivery approach enables all team members to work together cohesively towards a common goal, one that leads to the overall success for all project team members.
As a leader of our IPD initiatives, Kurt Thuene, Mortenson’s Director of Design Phase Management, presented at the Advancing Integrated Project Delivery Conference with our Aurora Medical Center Mount Pleasant team in September. Kurt discussed the importance and the challenges of adapting IPD in an industry that can be slow to change. He is a strong believer that IPD and IPD lite delivery methods give opportunities to improve, innovate, and enhance our industry.
