Mortenson held its 10th annual golf tournament on June 17 at Fox Hollow Golf Course in Lakewood, Colorado. This year, proceeds benefitted Firefly Autism, a Denver-based non-profit that offers center-based services for children ages 18 months to 21 years in Denver and Grand Junction, as well as home-based services throughout the front range and the western slope. Mortenson’s fundraising efforts and its sponsors’ contributions resulted in a $39,000 donation that will help Firefly achieve its vision to enrich the lives of children by providing help for young children to receive treatment, thereby benefitting the child, their family, and society. 

“Firefly Autism is forever grateful for the incredible outpouring of support that Mortenson Construction has done for us,” said Jesse Orgas, executive director of Firefly Autism. “We are proud to call Mortenson Construction an honorary Firefly!”

“We’re excited to support Firefly Autism, this fundraiser has been one of our most successful to date,” said Maja Rosenquist, senior vice president and general manager at Mortenson. “We’re very appreciative of all the support we received from our trade partners with sponsorship of this event,” she added.
