World Architecture News (WAN) has listed the University of Iowa’s Hancher Auditorium, designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects and OPN Architects, among their shortlist of best projects in the Performing Spaces category. Honorees come from all over the globe, including South Africa, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, and the United States. Mortenson was proud to act as the Construction Manager on this world class performing arts center. 

The Performing Spaces Award showcases excellence in design for projects such as opera houses, theatres, concert halls, and other live performance spaces. The award has been established to celebrate and promote the best in international architecture for performing arts venues, attracting entries from all over the world.
